Bigg Boss, one of the biggest and most controversial shows is back yet again with its 16th season which will go on air in October this year. Salman Khan-hosted show has witnessed break-ups, and patch-ups, and has made careers of many celebrities, so they look forward to participating in the show. Now, the names of the most talked about couple Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa have cropped for the show.

Yes, you read right! 

Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa who are into the limelight ever since they announced separation make them perfect contestants for this controversial show Bigg Boss 16. A source associated with the show Bigg Boss told ETimes that they have approached both Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa. The source was quoted saying, “Yes, we have been in discussions with Charu and Rajeev. We hope that their ugly spats in the public domain won’t influence their decision to participate in the show. We hope that the two agree and sign on the dotted line soon.”




Meanwhile, the ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actress confirmed that she has been approached for the show. She was quoted saying, “Yes, I have been contacted by the makers for the upcoming season but I have no clue about Rajeev. Having said that, I don’t have any problem doing a show with him. Work is work.”

Interestingly Rajeev has also given a nod about being approached but is not sure about taking up the show. He was quoted saying, “So far, they have only been keen on me. They never spoke about Charu.” He further added, “ I have mixed reactions to Bigg Boss from my family and friends. So, let’s see how things work out. I am still thinking about the offer.”

For the unversed, Rajeev and Charu got married in 2019 and were blessed with their first child, daughter Ziana in November 2021. In August the duo announced their separation through a social media post and since then they have been making the headline about their fights and arguments. 

Reportedly, Lock Up winner Munawar Faruqui, TikTok star Faisal Shaikh, TV actors Shivin Narang, and Vivian Dsena, and internet sensation Vishal Panday are said to be the confirmed contestants of Bigg Boss 16.
